Spreading Japan’s Proud Food Culture, and the Potential of Tuna to the World

Since its founding in 1988, TRY Inc. has deep roots in the local community, and has continued to grow to establish an integrated system that encompasses the purchasing, processing, sale, transporting, and quality assurance of frozen tuna products.

Recently, the business environment facing the Company has undergone a period of dramatic change, with changes in lifestyles and health consciousness, and the increased importance placed on the environment and sustainability leading to an increasingly diverse set of demands being placed on food products.
Anticipating such shifts in market and latent needs, TRY Inc. continues to contribute to Japan’s food culture through the stable supply of premium quality tuna, flexible solutions tailored by species and processing style made possible by our in-house processing facilities, and ongoing product development.
Moving forward, we hope to leverage the platform we have built as a springboard to creating new forms of food culture with a view to capturing demand overseas.

As outlined in the Company’s slogan, “Set your sail according to the wind”, TRY will look to deftly adjust its sails in the face of a new wind, striving for innovation, and working towards sustainable growth and evolution while never straying from the inspiration that has continued to drive the Company forward since its founding.
